Senior Videographer Editor- New York Knicks

Who are we hiring?
The Senior Videographer Editor will be responsible for acting as a lead voice within the video team for the New York Knicks and on the technical execution of pre, shoot and post productions. This role will capture and edit content of complex nature and variety with minimal direct supervision and will provide mentorship, direction and manage 3-4 videographer/editors.
What will you do?
- Responsible for assembling long and short form content to support needs for multiple departments
- Provide mentorship and team leadership to more junior staff to help develop camera experience, shooting/editing skills and IRT training to elevate the quality of our content; may directly manage others
- Provide updates to the department as well as the senior leadership team on projects
- Quality assurance - ensure the highest standard of creative for all projects
- Capture and edit content to meet business needs and objectives
- Lead and support Jr. Editor(s) to elevate the creative work
- Shoot and Edit larger scale projects and game coverage as needed
- Acts as a lead voice within the video team and on the technical execution of productions and post productions
- Ingest/Organize/log/clean-up footage from shoots to prepare for edit
- Collaborate with Producers and Project Manager to understand the intended messaging of the content
- Make suggestions/audition music, graphics and effects within the edit
- Export, re-format and quality check to assure all deliveries are to the correct specs
What do you need to succeed?
- 5+ year’s experience working as a Videographer or Director of Photography in varying environments
- Demonstrated expert experience with postproduction and graphics software, including Adobe Photoshop, Premiere & After Effect
- Experience shooting live game action and athletes
- Extensive editing experience
- Motion Graphics capabilities a plus
- Familiar with AWS environment
- Expert level knowledge about various cameras, equipment, shooting and editing styles and techniques
- Proven track record of being capable of delivering high quality content regardless of the shoot and other conditions
- Experience working at an agency or for a team is a plus
- Experience leading a team of creatives and problem solving
- Need to embrace the challenge of aggressive deadlines and turnaround while keeping your creativity flowing
Special Requirements
- Some non-traditional working hours may be needed based on business need and deadlines
- Travel as required for shoots and other business needs
- Able to lift up to 35-50lbs pounds of production equipment.
