Madison Square Garden Sports Corp. Who are we hiring?
As a member of the Blue Crew – On Ice team, you will help shovel the ice during TV Timeouts and stoppages during NY Rangers Home Games. Additionally, this role will assist the broader NY Rangers Event Presentation team with contests, signage and assisting contestants and other Event Presentation elements.
What will you do?
- Shovel the ice during TV timeouts at Rangers home games
- Help coordinate on-ice intermission contests (set up props/signage and assist contestants on where to go)
- Assist with special presentations as well as pre-game & post-game elements on-ice
- Work clinics/camps, special events, and viewing parties (as needed)
What do you need to succeed?
- High level of ice-skating ability (i.e. college level)
- Familiar with hockey
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
- Professional and respectful
- Energetic, enthusiastic and outgoing
- Team-player
- Presentable (i.e. well-groomed)
- Punctual
- Be a Rangers Fan!
Special Requirements
- Available to work nights and weekends (start time: 1 hour before game time)
- Must be available to work a minimum of 75% of all home games
