Who are we hiring?

The Partner Management & Activation team under the Global Partnerships Department oversees 100+ partnerships operating across all of MSG’s sports and entertainment properties including the New York Knicks, New York Rangers, Sports Properties, Concert Series at MSG, Christmas Spectacular featuring the Radio City Rockettes, and Sphere among others.  The partnership portfolio features long-standing blue-chip brands including JPMorgan Chase, Delta, Pepsi, Anheuser-Busch, Verizon and Lexus, and many more.

The core responsibilities of the Coordinator include assisting in the management of a variety of partner accounts, including contractual fulfillment for select partners with assets including hospitality, signage, events, social and digital content, and 360-degree campaigns and activations to optimize against the partner’s KPIs. Responsibilities will also include budget maintenance, internal and external relationship building, and assisting with strategic asset planning.

The Coordinator will be involved with a variety of accounts which have different levels of responsibility. On all accounts – large and smaller – in the portfolio, expectation is individual will provide support across the department in delivering against the partnership.

What will you do?

  • Support the delivery and execution of contractual assets for their specific partner roster. Assist Director/Manager on larger, multi-property accounts.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders to help drive client initiatives and with external clients to ensure partner satisfaction.
  • Assist in managing the day-to-day responsibilities for their partner roster including status reports, weekly planning calls, budgets, Salesforce, ticketing, recaps, and administrative support among others.
  • Support event day activations across the partner landscape ensuring execution is meeting partner and MSG standards. (includes game nights, concerts, and other events as necessary)
  • Assist in end of season recap planning and execution, performance evaluation and support in strategy planning.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management education or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
  • 0-3 years of strategic consulting or account management experience; particularly in sports or entertainment sector or sports/entertainment sponsorship.
  • Technical proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT etc.) and familiarity with new consumer technologies (social networks, etc.) 
  • Knowledge of national sports and entertainment marketplace as well as marketing and advertising industries.
  • Experience in account management and relationship building, both internal and external.
  • Knowledge of strategic marketing solutions and the ability to research and analyze a partners objectives coupled against our properties and their brand image.

Special Requirements

  • Required to work event nights based on business needs.

Pay Range
$55,000$65,000 USD
