NEW YORK, May 31, 2022 – The New York Rangers will continue their quest for the Stanley Cup with an Eastern Conference Final matchup against the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Rangers will have home-ice advantage in the series, beginning with Game 1 at Madison Square Garden at 8:00 PM ET on Wednesday, June 1.

         All games in the Eastern Conference Final will be nationally televised on ESPN and every game can be heard on ESPN 98.7 FM. In addition, MSG Networks will provide pregame and postgame coverage for all games.

         The Blueshirts and Lightning will face each other for the second time in the playoffs, with Tampa Bay winning a seven-game series in the 2015 Eastern Conference Final. During the regular season, New York won all three games against the Lightning. It was the first time since 2013-14 that New York swept a defending Stanley Cup champion (vs. CHI – 2-0-0).
